Collaborative narratives

Lately I’ve had the opportunity to participate in some incredible projects: the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Notes Into Letters, which uses live classical music to inspire writing; LA Noble Gallery’s Capturing the Narrative: A Visual Exploration of Fact and Fiction, where writers responded to the artists’ work by imposing our own narratives onto the photographs; and the Cortauld Institute of Art‘s workshop in collaboration with the Keats House Poets Forum, where we wrote pieces inspired by responses to the curated Impress exhibition on printmaking in contemporary art. All of these projects involved catalysing writing through other art forms, and illustrated the fluid ways that art in all forms can inspire further creative acts.
